Hello Outer World,

Clik here to view.I’ve been blessed to have been hosted at a beautiful Hostel called Villa Skansi on the island of Hvar. The amazing part is that the hostel doesn’t officially open until next month which is when the season actually begins. So we’ve had the entire place to ourselves.
As I find myself sitting in this beautiful estate, outside my bedroom is a spacious deck that overlooks the island. You can see mountains filled with the darkest riches green trees, houses on the hill side, an ocean that surrounds the entire island. The color of the water is a majestic mixture of blue-green hues that vary from navy blue to royal blue into turquoise and at the shore line it finishes with touch of light lime green. The calm sea glisten’s in the sunlight as you watch beautiful sailing yachts cursing. Everywhere I look seems like a moment out of a painting and you have to catch yourself to realize that it is real, it’s not a dream.

As I appreciate this moment; I wonder how we can live so separate from nature, from our natural habitat? There is something about being in nature; surrounded by its sheer beauty, pureness and the calmness it provides us. It is truly remarkable. Nature is an abundant wellspring that recharges, replenish and nourish our mind, body and spirit from the constant noise of the mechanical world. It allows us to get in touch with the stillness and silences that lies within. Of course that is if you allow it to and embrace what it can provide for you. As with anything in life you can only take full advantage of things when you are open & aware…

Clik here to view.We were made to be with nature not apart from it, this is where our roots are from. We are part of nature not separate nor above it. Yet most of us have forgotten our innate roots. We’ve build ourselves into the world of steel, man-made worlds (…which are great, don’t get me wrong but we are doing it at the expensive of our roots.) Destroying the natural beauty of the world and replacing it with artificial beauty. I love the city life but I can’t deny the difference in harmony within when your in nature versus the city life especially in the states where the constant energy is do, do & do some more without much beingness…
Being on the journey I’m currently on allows me to have the ‘time’ or rather having my focus solely be on whatever I choose it to be in that precise moment, because I have no deadlines, places to be, nor things I ‘have’ to do. Instead I get to really just BE, there is no doing-ness only being. And it is in our beingness that we find everything we are looking for.Image may be NSFW.

We aren’t machines, but we operate as one. Yes, we do have a logical side but we also have an emotional side that needs to be acknowledge, integrated and mastered. Logic is just a tool that helps us filter through what we can see but you do not arrive at truth with logic, You need both but you cannot navigate this reality and get everything you want both internally and externally by living only externally.
We must learn to navigate both worlds primary your internal world. When you start there, you’ll quickly begin to experience that most of the external things you are trying to bring into your reality will happen much quicker and with less effort. I urge to make the time to stop and enjoy a beautiful sunset, take a walk in nature or watch the moon. Breath and just BE for a while, look around you and find the beauty that already exist exactly where you are right now…
Love & Light
Stephanie
